Remember how excited I got this fall on the day of the Picnic music + arts festival? Well, take all that excitement & multiply it by about a thousand if you are wondering how I felt today when I saw the back of the Bollard while at lunch at Market Street Eats. This month’s issue of the Bollard clearly states that there will be a Picnic Holiday Sale going on this Saturday, December 12th! The admission is free, of course, but bring moneys because you are sure to find an unimaginable amount of truly fantastic vintage & handmade items. If there’s anyone on your Christmas list that is completely stumping you, I suggest you go to the festival to find that perfect gift. What more, you can have your photo taken with a yeti — not joking. I told you Picnic was awesome.

This time they’ll be even more conveniently located in my neck of the woods (the West End) at the Irish Heritage Center, 34 Gray Street in Portland. Since we’ve all got jobs & things to work around, the hours are later so we’ll be able to swing by after we get out. Come by any time between 1 & 8 pm! And guess what, they’ve got a wordpress blog just like me! Visit their site for more details.

Also, if you’re one of the people who really likes my “Cats” & “The Loo” plaques hanging in my house, you have all the more reason to go to this Picnic since it was at the last one that I bought these items from Lea Cyr!
