In 6th grade I can recall a project where we covered switch plates with patterned fabric and glued it down. We cut out a rectangle for the switch and two small circles for the screws, and I decorated my house with a couple of them.
This is a simple update that you can do to even rental homes to add your own little personal flair! And, if you’re using reclaimed fabric, or upcycled papers you are doing a good deed for the environment, too!
