I’m sure that every twenty-something struggles to find one life career to suit their interests, desires, and abilities. And I know that every single day passes while Ryan and I consider new options, think back to older ideas, and question what we’re doing right now. I am not sure if I will ever really figure out exactly what I’ll be happiest doing, so I’m content (I think…) to just try things until some profession sticks.
With that said, my next venture will be a better dedication to the world of selling handmade and vintage items. It’s been a few years now that I’ve been interested in making and selling — actually, my Mom called that one when I was probably only 7. And I’ve a newfound interest in home decor and vintage finds, so, perhaps if I combine the two something will work itself out. Etsy really is such an inspiration for me. I spend at least a half-hour on this site a day, sometimes a whole lot more. So we’ve decided that if we can dedicate ourselves to really making our Etsy shop thrive, then maybe we’ll be able to build a foundation for a solid income in the crafting/vintage fields.
So, I’ll ask you today to help me brainstorm names for an entirely new Etsy shop where we either will post only vintage finds, or a mix of both vintage and my handmade items. It might be both Ryan’s and mine, so we will most likely need to keep the “girly” down to a minimum. But, the one name that has been stuck in my head for a couple of years now is mousefruit. A little strange, but I think it’s pretty darling. What do you guys think? Can you come up with something better? Please don’t hold back! We need all the help we can get!
