Ryan recently enlightened me to the world of Horror Surf music with the viewing of the hideously lame, yet hysterical, film “Psycho Beach Party” and I have to say, I am quite in love. There’s something so satisfying about sitting down to a B-horror film with a snack, or letting it roll in the background while you putz around with something else. And the little fashionista inside of me was quite taken by the costuming and colours in the film. Someone did a lot of thrifting for this movie before filming began!

But since I’m relatively new to the genre, you won’t find it surprising to hear that when I flipped up my computer to search for our favourite band in the genre — Messer Chups –, I couldn’t recall the name at all.
