1. 1950s Diner Table Sets. I saw this set one day while thrifting and I really regret not purchasing!
3. Sunday mornings with coffee and New Hampshire Crossroads/Chronicle
5. This Modcloth interview with vintage shop owner Sarah Dunbar. She has such encouraging and truthful words!
6. The idea of 20 in 20. Make 20 handmade items in 20 days and give them all away! I’ll definitely give this a try once I get my shop more in order.
8. Leaving treats around the house for the cats to find.
9. My friend Danielle’s strength, courage, and passion for helping people. She needs $4,000 by May. You can help.
10. CORGIS! Perhaps it’s those big ears, or those tiny little legs…or maybe it’s the way they jump into the water with paws stretched to the sky and a big fluffy-belly flop like this (don’t worry, Golden Retrievers, you’re still my all time fav):

Seersucker! I think 99% of my wardrobe as a child was seersucker or smocked. (got to love being the first and only grandchild)
And don’t talk macaroons with me, I’ll get hungry! :-p
Haha, oh, I’ll probably do the same thing to my child someday! I was one of the youngest kids out of many. I got mostly hand-me-downs. Perhaps that’s why I now get so much excitement from clothing!
I just have to laugh at every single photo I was dressed like a ‘little lady’ – there is even one of me on santa’s lap at 4 years old [imagine this if you will..] in a little white hat (complete with white ribbon and little elastic under my chin) a white babydoll lacy/frilly/smocked creation.. with white frilly socks and white Clarkes shoes.. complete with- you guessed it, a white bag to match.
..my mother was the one wearing ‘Beatles’ jumpers, skinny jeans and a hot pink mullet.. gotta love the 80′s!!! ha ha
Wow, your Mom’s outfit sounds awesome! Yours…not so much, haha. But, we all went through that, and there is something so satisfying for a mother (I imagine) to see her baby dressed up so adorably. Thank goodness we get to choose our outfits now!
