In the late sixties, my Mom was a bit younger than I am now. She took the train into Boston every day to attend university, and on rainy days this is the coat that she wore. I love to think about the mini-dresses and the chunky little heels she must have worn with it. And about the satchels she probably carried her books in while she moved down the city streets humming Beatles tunes.
It’s been a long time since I’ve posted a look. So long, in fact, that Ryan noticed and commented on the subject yesterday. So, I’ve posted this look for anyone out there who was wondering how I’m dressing lately. I’m mostly just going back in time, playing around with different vintage and second hand pieces, and mixing them with newer designs for contrast.
