Today is for feeling like Alice.
When I got dressed this morning, I chose what to wear simply based on the fact that it was supposed to be miserably hot + humid, and I wanted something light that would breathe well. I looked in the mirror before heading out to the post office, and realized that I looked quite a bit like Alice.
The rest of my day then consisted of making a wonderland themed treasury on Etsy and playing around with my camera to make it look like I was a huge girl in a very tiny room {my imagination helped a bit, too}.
Now we’re waiting for friends to arrive from Maine! It’s very exciting to see people again that you haven’t seen for awhile, and I keep finding myself peeking around the curtains to see if they’ve arrived yet.
Tomorrow will be another hot day and after Ryan gets back from work, and I finish up with major thrifting and a Goodwill conference call about our plans for the Goodwill Summer Conference in August we’ll hopefully be hitting the pier for some real summer fun!

Very cute! It does look very Alice-like. I’ve been in a real Alice mood since I’ve been immersed in playing Alice: Madness Returns on Xbox 360. I’ve always loved the visual imagery that the Alice story conjures up.
