I love rain…mostly.
I love how it cleanses the Earth, freshens the air, and I love the way it sounds dropping on leaves and roofs. But today I’ve spent my day avoiding it as best I can because even more than I love rain, I love snuggling up inside, warm and dry, while it’s raining outside. There’s nothing like a stormy day to make me feel comfy + cozy in my little bubble of an apartment. It reminds me how good I’ve really got it.
So I’ve made some tea, I’ve got my book, and, now that I’m home from work, I’ll get all settled in with Hugo, and Atlas, and Ryan, and spend the rest of my time avoiding the rain. There’s nothing quite like this feeling, is there?
