Halloween is approaching fast!
And it has certainly been on my mind. This year, as much as I dislike certain aspects of our apartment, I really love its location. We’re just outside the tiny center of town – only about a minute’s walk from everything – so I’m really crossing my fingers that we’ll have a little trick-or-treat traffic. I’ve got my candy display all ready to go, and I came up with some ideas for turning thrifted finds into candy-carriers on the big night. Now all I need is my costume! I have some ideas, but really better get crackin’. I have been planning on sewing my dress myself – we’ll see how that goes!
What will you be for Halloween?

Such a lovely picture! I haven’t figured out what I want to be yet…hmm
Good luck choosing! I’m sure you’ll pick a wonderful costume

I’m with Julia, I’m sure you’ll pick something amazing!
I just completed my Halloween costume today actually!

Whoa! I totally was inept with my comment! Haha, I’m on your blog, Julia!! Oops!
Anyhow, there are loads of wonderful and unique ideas. Sometimes I look at costume sites and get ideas and then say “I could do that better” and make it myself.
That’s such a great mentality to have! You come out with something more personal that you can be proud of instead of something cheesy Made in China. Can’t wait to see!

Those are awesome ideas!! Judd and I are going as Tobias and Lyndsay Funke from Arrested Development
Should be entertaining. I can’t wait to see the dress you make!! xox

I’m so excited to share! I just hope I can finish it in time

Probably nothing because we don’t tend to dress up here in Belgium.. But I would certainly love to! No idea what I would be though, I’m bad at that kind of stuff haha
xo
You could try hosting a costume party! Then you’d have a great reason to dress up. I bet you could come up with a wonderful costume idea.

I don’t celebrate Halloween but it’s really fun to see other people get excited about it. Some people really into it!
They do! I’m sort of one of those people (although it could be much worse!). It’s just so much fun to get into it. It’s a huge part of our autumn celebration
