Woo! I did it! Here are my last three days:
Day 28 -
Day 29 -
So happy that I don’t have to photograph my outfits every day anymore! And now I won’t feel guilty if I spend my whole day in pajamas!

So I’ve learned one thing about myself this week: I can handle posting in my blog once a day. I can’t handle having more than one topic to blog about in a day.
That’s probably refreshing information for a lot of you seeing as no one likes spam (whether on the internet or in a tin can). So I can assure you that I’ll be a little less enthusiastic about posting on multiple topics every day.
You see, I haven’t had a problem abiding by the rules of the 30 for 30 challenge, or our local summer, or any of the other challenges that I bring upon myself — I enjoy those! It’s reporting it all that seems a bit overwhelming!
So here are the outfits that I’ve been wearing for the past few days, all piled up into one entry because apparently posting them on the actual day that I took the photos is too much, haha.
Day 23:
Navy leggings, blush LAmade tunic tank, FP oversized sweater + cowgirl boots!
Day 24:
Oversized striped snuggly sweater, FP flowy top, Jbrand jeans.
Day 25:
Jeans from Find, hand-me-down striped cropped tank, TopShop sweater, scarf from SWAPmaine, rainboots!
Day 26:
American Apparel teeshirt, FP batwing sweatshirt, jeans from Find, Toms
Day 27:
Vintage wiggle dress from SWAPmaine, second-hand belt gifted from a friend, second-hand wedges from Material Objects!
Now that I’m caught up on my 30 for 30 posts (until tomorrow, that is), I’ll be able to attempt to tackle my last few days of local eating!

Ah, yes, days 20 through 22. Good days for me!
On Monday my best friend in the world came up for a visit. A coworker of mine was kind enough to offer us her family’s beach house, and we were only too happy to accept! So for us, Monday and Tuesday were days of indulgence!
Here’s what I wore Monday:
Floral romper, Goodwill belt, moccasins!
Tuesday:
Prairie tunic, FP ruffle skirt, GW belt, floral flats!
And, today:
FP plaid dress, lilac sweater from SWAPmaine, brown flats!
And check out how cute my two BFFs are -
What a fun week so far!

I’m currently humming a song of Ryan’s called “Where Have I Been?”
I feel like I’ve been neglecting my blog (once you start writing in your blog nearly every day for well over a year it starts to feel weird when you don’t). It seems I’ve got a few days to catch you all up on!
Let me preface these photos by saying that we’ve checked out a few new cameras, and may have decided on which one we like best. Now we just have to crunch some numbers to see if we can afford it then we should be in business.
So, suffer through these crappy photos from my phone, and we’ll be back on board with better quality pictures soon.
Day 17:
Thrifted jeans from Find, black LAmade tunic tank, lilac cardigan from SWAPmaine!
Day 18:
Top Shop sweater, blush LAmade tunic tank, black leggings, wooly socks.
Mmm, Saturday was a day to get lost in my Top Shop sweater. The days when I get to work from home are the absolute best. I watched nearly a whole season of Gilmore Girls while my fingers stitched away at those growth charts. I’m making significant progress and one (the one that was not included in the bulk order) is ready to be shipped off already!
Day 19:
So I have to admit this, you guys. Today I messed up. I got up, got ready and dressed thinking that I had never worn such an outfit during this challenge, but just after descending my stoop to the sidewalk on my way to work, I realized that I had.
There were a couple of little bits and pieces that were different. The shoe choice, the jeans went uncuffed today, and other such touches, but it was essentially the same thing that I wore on Day 3. Fail.
Better luck tomorrow, I hope? I’ll make sure to actually check the blog from here on out.
♥
So tomorrow my best friend, myself, and my darling are taking a trip to an ocean cabin that a very generous co-worker of ours owns. I’m so excited to be able to step away from the city for a night! We’ve had a very hectic week due to my big order (good/hectic!), the regular work shifts, and babysitting for three young kiddos on Friday with a bit of a drive to and from.
We had a blast building blanket forts, reading stories, and snacking. And Ryan changed his first diaper so that’s clearly exciting. Nevertheless, we both agree that we definitely earned our Monday/Tuesday mini-vacation this week!
Can’t wait to see my best friend!

Past the half-way mark and still going strong! Here’s what I’m wearing today:
Vintage tank from SWAPmaine, brown cardigan, high waisted jeans from Find, bow belt!
It’s a studio day for me today, so no shoes necessary! I’m just plugging away at my growth chart order, and watching my adorable cats cuddle all day! Hope your Thursday is going as wonderfully as mine

So today I faced a dilemma. According to the rules of the game, what happens on days when I change my outfit? You know, wear one thing to work during the day, and something else out at night.
I dressed in one outfit for work this morning. It was in the 50s when I left the house, so I had a couple of layers, long pants, and a jacket, but the temperature picked way up, and I was sweating most of the day so as soon as I came home I changed. I think I’m only going to count this second outfit that I wore, because it’s the one I had on the longest.
So here’s what I wore for a nice long bike ride in this gorgeous weather on the coast of Maine:
LAmade tunic, jean shorts (these used to be flared pants!), my favourite brown flats which incidentally don’t work well for cycling.
Have a lovely evening!

So, this is not my favourite look of the challenge (also, I look terrified in the photo), but it’ll do for today:
Long sleeve Free People flowy top, oversized striped cardigan, LAmade blush tunic tank (underneath), brown leggings, woolen socks, second hand boots from a clothing swap!
Usually Tuesdays are my day off — usually so are Mondays — but Ryan and I had work events and trainings both days this week, so I’m pretty ready to just relax. Thus, I’m comfy-fied today.
Hey, have you ever noticed how many excuses I make? Ha ha.
Onward to Wednesday!

Today I wore:
Free People oversized sweater, American Apparel tee, LAmade blush tunic tank, J Brand jeans, oxfords, and a second-hand scarf (another free score!)
Brrrr! In true New England fashion, we’ve gone from high 90s temperature with incredible humidity, way down to chilly temps in the 50s in just a matter of days. I’ve got scarves and hot coffees to keep me warm
Ryan and I did some extra bountiful thrift shopping today. We scored big time on a matter of purchases at one of my very favourite treasure hunting locations! Perhaps I’ll share them later on. I’ve got lots of work to do in my shop this week, though, so I may just be too busy!

It’s been a hard day’s night (as Sundays always are for me), and I am thankful to be home! Here’s what I wore today:
American Apparel hoodie and tee, LAmade tunic tank underneath, J Brand jeans, Toms.
Like I said, on Sundays I really just wear a variation of the same outfit. It has proven to me time and again to be both practical and comfortable and I am therefore faithful to it. Haha!

What I’m wearing:
Oversized Free People sweater, blush LAmade tunic tank underneath, Free People layer skirt, brown tights, belt from Goodwill, fuzzy wool socks, cowgirl boots thrifted from Find, scarf from TopShop, jacket vintage from my Mom.
This must be the first dreary day of the Summer (yes, I know, technically it’s not actually Summer yet…), and I am spending it in woolies, drinking hot coffee, working in my shop with kitty company. I get to stay inside today, other than when I left to bring Ryan some lunch, and for that I am very thankful.
When I’m done with my work I’ll either curl up with a book or snuggle on the couch watching Gilmore Girls. You’re jealous…
Stay cozy, everyone!
xx. Julia
