Jeeze, Julia!

Hello, everyone!

Thanks to a few special people on Facebook (you have to have at least 25 people like you before you can choose your url), I was able to claim my own domain name, and I now have an easily accessible fan page! Head on over and “Like” me if you… like… me! Ha!

I’ll be posting updates there (and sometimes here, of course) for things that are going into my shop. Usually I put pictures up on facebook as soon as the listing hits Etsy, so that’s a great place to keep tabs if you are interested in my shop. I know that the shop can be pretty girly, though, so some of you may just be reading the blog for other topics of interest. In that case, I certainly understand if you don’t really need to keep up on my shop. I’d still love your support if you’re into it!

Fun news: Tomorrow my parents will be bringing my desk up from New Hampshire! That means that this week I’ll be adding the finishing touches to my “office” (it’s in quotations because it’s really just some furniture and decor that I put along one wall in our bedroom…it’s far from being a real office)! Photos to follow as soon as I’m done!

And, I was featured in another treasury which you can see by clicking this link. Then, miraculously, I sold the item! And, this morning I sold another listing! That’s two sales in one weekend — an excellent start and a good sign.

The third exciting thing for me this week is that on Wednesday my sewing classes start! My honey is so smart, and got me some machine lessons for Valentine’s Day. So thoughtful! As the start date approaches I’m becoming more and more nervous. It’s been years since I had a first-day-of-school, and four more years on top of that since it was in a new place with new people! Yikes!
