New life for pillows & suitcases

Here’s one thing that I’ve had my eye on for quite some time:

& I plan on purchasing it whenever we have a little extra cash to play around with. Until then, I wanted to share it with you & let you know that even if you can’t support great creators like LoveNostalgicWhimsy, you can still have a cute little bed like this for your pet.

It’s as simple as this: Go to Goodwill, Salvation Army, any second hand store…maybe even the dump. Find a great vintage suitcase, stick an old pillow (that you most likely replaced a couple of years back with one of those Tempur-pedics) in there with a fancy pillowcase or some extra yardage of fabric, et voila! Your kitty will be happier than he has been since you last surprised him with a new catnip toy, and you’re saving a pillow & a suitcase for their landfill doom (that’s upcycling!!!).

If you don’t have the time or patience to stick on those sweet little legs, though, you may want to just have the professionals do it. That’s why I plan on visiting LNW’s Etsy often to see the new pieces that that posted, & to choose the one that is right for me & my kitties then wait for the money to come in.
